Ms Tan, Joo Khim, Josephine |
Joo Khim is a learning designer/technologist who provides training and consultancy on the administration and use of free/libre open-source software (FLOSS) such as blogs, wikis, Moodle and Google services in business and education. She has been blogging and experimenting with FLOSS since 2003.
Joo Khim was previously Assistant Director (Instructional Design) at the Centre for Educational Development in Nanyang Technological University. Prior to that, she has worked as an instructional designer/technologist in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, a Web editor in Hewlett Packard Education Services, a Technical Communications manager in Creative Technology Ltd, a journalist in Singapore Press Holdings and a systems analyst in the National Computer Board. She has also served as President, Singapore chapter in the Society for Technical Communication in 2000-2003.
An Information Systems graduate from the National University of Singapore, Joo Khim had completed all the requisite courses for a Masters of Arts in Instructional Design & Technology program in the National Institute of Education with flying colors by the end of 2005. |

Anyone who is familiar with Web surfing and wants to learn how to make use of blogs and other social media (their own and/or others) to for his/her business. Only basic computer and internet literacy needed. No technical programming involved.
